This week's workload can't be argued away, but it's those busy weeks that remind me of why I started this weekly feature in the first place - to intentionally focus on happy moments. While I wouldn't have said no to a second pair of hands this week, I feel incredibly fortunate to have a job that I love that much, and though mostly work related, this week had actually quite a few wonderful moments in store for me so far. I'll have to admit that, in a moment of weakness, I allowed myself to start earlier with the Christmas music than I think I ever have (much to my husband's horror), but other than that things went well and the week has been really kind to me. We'll be spending the rest of the week with the other side of our family, and besides the obvious - spending time with family - I'm looking forward to a long train ride and to working from a different space over the next couple of days. Now what projects to bring along? This question will most likely keep me busy until we leave, even though I probably won't even be able to fit in much knitting. With or without knitting, I hope you're having a lovely week!
Finishing up the Winter Breath Wrap my sample knitter Sara sent over - those last few stitches and the blocking process are pure magic!
The first personal project in a long, long time that actally got finished within a couple of days – the baby blanket I made for my cousin.
Fall is everywhere and I love it!
All the kind comments and messages I received here and on Instagram about the first tutorial I shared made me so happy.
