The last couple of days have been a quite nice mix of work & play – I got back from a lovely family vacation in the mountains, my heart full with impressions of this planet's beautiful nature, and was excited to get back to work. Despite a rather huge work load these weeks, I'm really enjoying working on the projects I have on my plate right now. Earlier this week, I share about the beginnings of my self care journey, something I'd love to incorporate more about here, and I loved the conversation around self care that started from it. Thanks so much for joining in and sharing your thoughts, and I hope you have a lovely week!Read More

We're currently on our annual family ski vacation, and taking a few days off has been nothing but wonderful so far! This week's Midweek Happiness is a little shorter than usual – not at all because there were fewer happy moments, simply because I didn't take as many photos and because we're busy enjoying the little break. Have a lovely week!Read More
To me, one of the many upsides of being self-employed is that I'm able to work from many different places – something I don't take advantage of as often as I wish I did. There's a lot on my to list this week, but since we have a family birthday and an important thing at my mum's work tonight, I figured I could cross off those tasks a few hundrer kilometres further south just as well. These past couple of days have been filled with so many lovely conversations with friends and family, and I couldn't be more thankful for that. WIshing all of you a very happy week, too!Read More
It's the most wonderful time of the year! It's no secret that these weeks are my favourite time of the year – for me, nothing beats the cosy feeling that comes with the colder months, festive music (give me all the swing!), joyful hours spent with friends and family, and all the knits. Even though Berlin winters aren't necessarily a crowdpleaser, I feel very fortunate to live in a part of the world where I can experience the change of seasons, and ...Read More
It's starting to feel a lot like winter around here, and I couldn't be more excited about that. This time of year is my absolute favourite, and I'm welcoming the cold, the candles and the holiday planning with open arms. We're determined to finalise all gifts this week so that we won't need to do any last minute gift shopping and can instead embrace the season's joys (read cookie baking & indulgent dinners with friends). Whether it's colling down or beginning to get warm where you are, I hope you're having a lovely week!Read More
It's a short Midweek Happiness feature today as I fell sick last week and am still not back to my old self. Even though it's everything but fun, especially when you're trying to still get work done, it made me once again realize how grateful I am for my overall good health. Wishing you all a lovely week, stay warm and cosy!Read More
You know those weeks you just stumble into? After transitioning directly into a long work weekend at the end of last week, I got back from Nottingham on Monday and still can't believe it's Wednesday already. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to a hopefully relaxing weekend, and here a few of my happy moments – have a lovely week!Read More
What a week it has been so far! While the knitting community is considered a very kind one, hurtful comments occur everywhere when people put themselves and their work out there. As disheartening as seeing the negativity in a few people's reactions on one of Laine Magazine's Hygge Sweater shots has been, I'm beyond grateful for each and everyone who showed love and support for what I think is an amazing magazine with a strong voice and mission and beautiful aesthetic. Thanks for joining this important conversation! On a lighter note, I've been soaking up precious time with both sides of our family before ...Read More
We don't really do anything special for Halloween over here (or in other words, there just don't seem to be any kids trick-or-treating in our neighbourhood), but nevertheless, the last couple of days have been filled with celebrations – two of my best friends celebrated their 30th birthdays, International Cat Day, welcoming a tiny new family member, and gearing up for our WOODS release party. In woolly news, I really enjoyed a few quiet moments with a personal project, and I can't wait to spend more time with my issue of Laine. My parents are staying with us for a few days which is always such a nice treat, and it also means I get to ...Read More
Fall is in full swing, and I've been embracing all things seasonal these past couple of days. A pumpkin is roasting in the oven as we speak, and we've enjoyed going on long-ish walks in my hometown's colourful forests when we visited our family last weekend. If you think in knitting, it already feels late to start working on Christmas gifts, but at least I got around to picking up the yarn at my LYS Wollen Berlin today, and my friend and I signed up to volunteer with an organization that sends out care & gift packages to less fortunate children all over the world later this year, so now I feel a bit more ready for the last two months of ...Read More
